Denver Association of Family Child Care- a non profit organization for the benefit of licensed family child care providers in Denver, and the State of Colorado. Denver Association of Family Child Care (DAFCC) was founded in March 1971.
DAFCC meets the second Thursday of each month at Salem United Church of Christ, 5300 East Florida Ave. Denver, CO 80222 from 7:00-9:00 pm. These meetings offer education and support for licensed providers. Providers receive up to 2 hours licensing renewal credit per meeting attended. DAFCC requires all members to show their membership cards when they sign in to each meeting. Non-members will be charged $5.00 per meeting fee. Remember-no child care at meetings, no children except nursing infants.
In addition to monthly meetings our conference is held the last Saturday in April yearly at Salem United Church of Christ, 5300 East Florida Ave. It is a day of educational training, vendors and networking. This year's conference will be April 25, 2015. The conference gives providers six hours of license renewal credits on a variety of topics. The day starts with a continental breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m with Door Prizes. Lunch is provided. All registration must be postmarked by April 20, 2015. Seating is limited!!! Free Referral Service
Members of DAFCC are entitled to free child care referral. Make sure and let your referral person know if you have an opening. The last page of the newsletter provides a phone list of contacts.
